Jude Barnes Ndonuie

Jude Taniform Awambeng is a seasoned business and project development executive with over 25 years of experience in the energy, tourism, and stakeholder engagement sectors across the Central African Subregion, with a particular focus on Cameroon. His career reflects a deep commitment to advancing sustainable development and fostering strategic partnerships in both public and private spheres.

As Business Development Manager at Berkeley Energy Cameroon, Jude leads the Mungo Falls and Dibombe hydropower projects, overseeing stakeholder alignment and driving project execution in alignment with regional energy goals. Jude has played a pivotal role in the tourism and energy sectors for over two decades, working with organizations such as African Travel Management and Central African Travel, and serving as a trusted fixer for international media outlets including BBC, CBS, and National Geographic.

His work has consistently bridged local expertise with global visibility, promoting the region’s potential on the world stage.He has also served for more than 15 years as CEMAC Regional Director at Ametrade Ltd, where he now sits on the board as a Non-Executive Director.

In this capacity, Jude has been instrumental in organizing high-level business-to-business events for governments across Sub-Saharan Africa, facilitating investment, trade, and regional cooperation.

Jude’s academic journey spans three continents. He studied at Georg-August University Göttingen in Germany, earned further qualifications from the University of Northampton in the United Kingdom, and is a CCID Fellow with the University of Hawai‘i in the United States.

His passion for regional development, combined with his extensive network and hands-on experience, makes him a respected figure in both the energy and tourism landscapes of the CEMAC region.
